Dogs are happier, healthier and better behaved when recieving adequate training and stimulation. Dog behavioural problems that occur in and around the home generallycannot be retified in a group training situation. We also find group training can be overwhelming for some dogs and owners. Kadan K9 Training offers obedience sessions tailored to the individual dog and owner. Private training has the positives of allowing us to assess your dog and complete an individual program that addresses specific issues and outcomes. Obedience training teaches your dog commands like Sit, Drop and Heel. We can customise a training program to suit you. 
Socialisation is a very important aspect of dog training especially when bringing home a new puppy. FOR A NEW PUPPY: Every new puppy has a critical period of development between the age of 8-16 weeks. In this time we need to introduce our pup to our environment. This includes things like cars, trams, loud noises, other dogs, children etc, so that later in life our dog will not show any behavioural problems with such items. It is paramount that your new pup gets plenty of socialisation. FOR OLDER DOGS: Most of us enjoy taking our dog out and about with us, but if your dog overreacts to certain things like those mentioned above, there may be behavioural issues or negative associations. Kadan K9 Training can help to identify these issues and set in place a plan for overcoming them. 
Behavioural problems are things such as excessive barking, digging in the back yard, aggression towards other dogs or the owner. These can become major problems if let go. At KADAN K9 TRAINING we can assist you with more serious problems with in home consultations. Many dogs and owners experience these problems so please don’t think you’re the only one!
