I came to meet Daniel through a recommendation from a pet supply store because I was having trouble with my two poodles (one being an 8 month old 27kg standard and the other being a 12 month old 5 kg miniature) being aggressive towards other dogs and the miniature with her fear of people coming into my house. Daniel is great and really easy going and caring not just for the dogs but for you as well. He doesn’t make you feel incompetent because you don’t know what to do, he just wants to help you and your dogs have a better and more pleasurable relationship and he doesn’t only train your dog he trains you how to train your dog. If you or any body you know needs help with a dog give Daniel a call because he can help things get better. Kerri

Two sessions with Daniel was all it took to help us get our 16 month old German shepherd Tosca under control his dominance, barking and constant pulling on the lead were almost out of control. We had tried everything puppy classes, obedience, socialisation and even another well known dog trainer, all of these were unsuccessful. Daniel was our last resort and really we weren’t expecting too much. Imagine then how happy we were when Daniel stepped in and taught us how to effectively handle our dominant dog. He also taught us a bit of tuff love. Tosca now walks beautifully on the lead, is not lunging at other dogs and is a breeze to take to the vet. We owe this sucess to Daniel and his marvellous techniques and patience, his follow up calls and easy going nature made our experience an enjoyable one. Thanks again we have a new love for our K9 member of the family. From Aleesha, Shirley & Tosca!!!!!

Taking Olli for a walk was a chore and in the end we just avoided taking him out at all. He pulled on the lead from the day we got him home, if there were cars, cats or other dogs the pulling and excitability got even worse!!! We tried a couple of dog schools in the area and did not get the results we wanted or the one on one advice that we needed. After our first lesson with Daniel, he had Olli walking beside us comfortably - no pulling, after a few more lessons distractions that would usually set him off were not as much of an issue. We were given the training needed to be able to continue seeing improvements long after our last lesson. We have a different Olli who is much nicer to live and play with!. Erin and Ben |

I just wanted to express my gratitude for your help with my dogs. I have to admit that I did not expect such dramatic changes so soon. Your wonderful advice on how to train my dogs based on each individual's needs has worked wonders. I would like to be placed in the category of a very happy customer. You were referred to me by my cousin and the best advertisement is word of mouth. I would love to go on record saying that I am a very happy customer and look forward to your next visit. Liane

I love my dogs, they are my world, some may say I love them too much, but there were times I wanted to drop them off at Lort Smith. The argument within the home was becoming exhausting and so was my body due to walking two powerful dogs. My first impressions of Daniel was an 'easy going guy' that could relate with a variety of people and their emotions. The way he interacted with my dogs revealed his passion and love towards the dog world.I now walk my dogs instead of being dragged, and the energy within the home is more enjoyable. Thanks again. Donna. |

After an incident with my dog landed me in court last year, my beloved dog Maverick then had a narrow escape from "being put to sleep" on the condition of some professional training. Mavy is 25kg heavier than me, it was no problem for him to drag me where he wanted to go, walking Mavy was impossible. I jumped straight on the phone to Daniel and booked in my consultation. Daniel is a very easy going guy and made me 100% comfortable, he never made me feel like he was judging me. We worked together at pace that was comfortable for both me and more importantly Mavy. Daniel re-built my confidence and my ability to control Maverick again. I can't recommend Daniel highly enough, he has saved Maverick's life and we are now able to enjoy the simple pleasure of a daily walk. Alissia |

We undertook some training with Daniel for our very spoilt British Bulldog "Mack" Mack was the master of our house and decided that he owned me, with Daniel's great training we now have a managable dog who has some manners, a lot more than what he previously had. I am now the master of the house and Mack only tests me sometimes. Daniel has done a terrific job with Mack and I would not hesitate to recommend him. Without Daniel's help we would be stilled ruled by Mack. We cannot thank Daniel enough for all of his hard work, and Mack is always thrilled to see Daniel. John & Robyn |

After Tiggy, our 18 month old pet greyhound, was hit by a car out the front of our house, she was petrified of leaving the house and walking down the driveway. This made it very dificult for us to take her on her daily walks, somethng that she loved doing. We called Daniel who came to our house and with some great advice and handy techniques he taught us how to reassure Tiggy that walking down the driveway was not always going to be a bad experience. He also helped us in teaching Tiggy that she is much bigger than a lot of other dogs and that although she is only playing, her boisterous behaviour could hurt them if she is too rough. Daniel is very easy-going and friendly. His knowledge of dogs and his ability to find the best motivator and training techniques according to your pet's personality is amazing. He teaches you how to best teach your dog and thanks to Daniel, we now have a beatiful greyhound that is excited about going for her morning walks again. Thanks Daniel Laura and Richard |

Jake is a 2 year old English Toy Terrier some people know this breed as a Toy Manchester Terrier. We got him as a 1 year old and when he arrived he shook all the time, thinking this was an issue with his lack hair and change of climate we persisted with housing him inside in winter. Over time he tried to run the household barking at everything and anyone other than me. My husband was only tolerated and my son couldn’t come home without being barked at long and hard. When we first saw Daniels ad, we thought that private home lessons could be the answer. Daniel assessed Jake as being fearful and lacking confidence. Daniels friendly, easy going nature makes him very easy to relate to. Without judging me or making me feel bad Daniel helped me understand how my actions had affected Jake. He explains his training style well and leaves you with training homework to do after each visit. I felt no pressure from Daniel; he truly wants to see a happy well adjusted dog. Jake is now a very different dog, he still does his job letting us know when we have visitors but he accepts their presence and continued training has helped make him a nicer part of our family.
